Yerevan – Dogubayazit

Our trip starts at 6 am from Yerevan.
We will drive to the Armenian – Georgian border, after crossing the Bavra checkpoint we’ll continue to the Georgian – Turkish border.
After that, we will continue to Dogubayazit.

Overnight in a hotel in Bayazet.
First Camp

From the hotel we will approach the mountain by bus. It will take us till 2200 meters from where we will start the ascent.
The hike will take approximately 4-5 hours till the first base camp on 3200m.
All the heavy stuff will be carried from camp to camp by horses.

Overnight in tents at an altitude of 3200 meters.
Second Camp

After breakfast, we will start the ascent form the first base camp (3200m) to the second one at an altitude of 4200m.
The duration of the hike will be from 4 to 5 hours.

We begin our ascent to the summit at night, which typically takes around 6-7 hours.
After reaching the top, we descend to 4200 m, where we take a rest, prepare ourselves, and then continue our descent to 3200 m.

Back to Yerevan
After breakfast, we depart for the Georgian-Turkish border in the morning, and then continue our way to Yerevan.
