After arriving in Reykjavík and settling into the hotel, we take time to rest and breathe in the crisp Icelandic air.
That afternoon, we begin exploring the Golden Circle - a perfect introduction to the country’s dramatic landscape.
We walk between tectonic plates in Thingvellir National Park, then watch Strokkur geyser erupt sky-high in bursts of steam.
At Gullfoss waterfall, powerful glacial water crashes into a deep canyon. A scenic riverside hike offers our first taste of Iceland’s raw nature.

Today we journey along the breathtaking south coast. At Seljalandsfoss, we walk behind the waterfall's misty curtain.
Further along, Skógafoss roars over ancient cliffs - and here, our trail begins.
A beautiful hike climbs through a green valley carved by dozens of waterfalls, revealing Iceland’s interior wilderness. We end the day at the dramatic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, where basalt cliffs and sea stacks rise from the surf.

In the heart of Vatnajökull National Park, we hike through moss-covered lava fields and birch woods to reach Svartifoss, a waterfall framed by basalt columns.
The views here are spectacular - glaciers above, waterfalls below.
Later, we arrive at the magical Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where floating icebergs drift silently across blue waters.
Just across the road, ice glitters like diamonds on black sand at Diamond Beach - a sight like no other. Hike: 5.5 km

Our journey continues into the north, where we visit the spectacular Goðafoss - the "Waterfall of the Gods." In the surreal landscapes of Lake Mývatn, we explore craters, steam vents, and lava fields. A short hike to the rim of Hverfjall, a massive volcanic crater, offers panoramic views over this active geothermal area. Those who wish can enjoy a soak in the nearby Mývatn Nature Baths. We finish the day in charming Akureyri, surrounded by fjords.

We explore the legendary Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called “Iceland in Miniature” for its incredible variety of landscapes.
Our coastal walk begins in Arnarstapi, tracing sea cliffs teeming with birds, and ends in the peaceful village of Hellnar.
Later, we marvel at Snæfellsjökull, a glacier-capped volcano steeped in myth.
Before sunset, we visit the picture-perfect Kirkjufell mountain - one of Iceland’s most photographed spots.

Overnight: Grundarfjörður
On our final day, we stop to see Hraunfossar, a series of waterfalls trickling out of a lava field, and the roaring Barnafoss nearby.
At Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring bubbles beside the road.
Then, we travel southwest to the Blue Lagoon, Iceland’s world-famous geothermal spa nestled in a lava field. Here, we enjoy a soothing soak in steaming, mineral-rich waters - the perfect way to unwind after a week of adventure.
We return to Reykjavík in the late afternoon, with time for last strolls or souvenirs before gathering for a special farewell dinner - a chance to share stories, laughter, and memories made in this unforgettable land.
